Lumber Liquidators announces change at the top

Flooring retailer Lumber Liquidators has announced that Robert Lynch, its current president and chief operating officer, will succeed current CEO Jeffrey Griffiths on Jan. 1, 2012. As part of the company’s succession plan, Griffiths will also retire from the board of directors at the same time.

Stock hires former Home Depot exec

Mark Fikse has joined Stock Building Supply as the division president and general manager for the Southeast region, reporting to CEO Jeff Rea, according to a company statement. He will be responsible for business operations in North and South Carolina and Georgia.
