This week, Home Depot is featuring multiple appliance deals, more than 100 in fact, with a focus on washers and dryers. As more and more states enact their appliance-rebate programs, Home Depot seems to be getting a jump on adding dealer incentives to sweeten the deal. More retailers may take this approach as the last of the state rebates kick in April and May. And while some retailers like Lowe’s, were featuring Super Bowl specific deals on their Web site this weekend, McCoy's Building Supply was looking ahead to that other February holiday. The company was promoting gift-card sales with the message: “Don’t forget your born-to-build sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.”

Once customers log on, they can provide their e-mail for a $5 coupon, 10% off many items in their outlet site and $4.99 shipping on orders over $75 (with some limitations).
