In Orlando, Orgill shows its stuff

The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., served as the venue for the 2011 Orgill Spring Dealer Market, Feb. 24 to 26.

Among the vendors bringing a fashionable element to the proceedings was Carhartt.

Pre-registration was 20% higher than the company's previous record, set in 2007. One incentive to be in Orlando: deals described as "Market Busters."

Delta Farm & Hardware was one of two concept stores on display. "These stores showcase the range of what Orgill can provide to retailers of different shapes, sizes and formats," said Orgill CEO Ron Beal.

Beale Street Lumber is named for the famous thoroughfare back in Memphis, Tenn., where Orgill is headquartered.

Among the heavyweight products, a Volvo digger in the rental equipment display area.
