NHS draws to a close

After three days of home improvement salesmanship and networking at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the National Hardware Show drew to a close Thursday. Some 30,000 industry professionals participated.

Surrounded by his family, Do it Best Corp. CEO Bob Taylor posed with the Golden Hammer award after his induction into the Home Channel Hall of Fame.

There was no shortage of new products on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center, including an area in the Central Hall where a museum-like setting shed light on innovation.

The Generation Tools booth played the retro look with a classic car and 1957 prices on products.

In the parking lot of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Western Premium BBQ Products demonstrated the art of outdoor living.

The eyes of the hardware business were focused on Las Vegas for three days in May.
