Lifetime Brands got colorful and creative in the kitchen with its Get Happy Kitchen Gadget Collection (left), which includes nesting measuring cups, measuring spoons, bag clips and handled brush. The Trap Door Colander by Farberware (center) features dispensing doors on the bottom that allows the user to direct where food is dropped. The Bagel Guillotine (right), now available in three new colors, offers a durable stainless steel blade with dual-serrated edges.

The Glas Collection from Energizer is the company’s line of energy-saving lighting solutions. The Glas Task Light, which is cool to the touch even after hours of use, produces less heat with an LED that never needs replacing.

Hamilton Beach takes its offerings to the back yard with the 5-Burner Outdoor Gas Grill, which includes a wood-chip drawer, culinary cooking tray, side burner and easy-to-read temperature gauge.

The eco-friendly AllClear Mosquito Mister Lantern with Naturals Refill solution protects a 300-sq.-ft. area from mosquitoes with a plant-based botanical extract of lemongrass.

DuPont’s Stainless Steel Cleaner cleans stainless steel surfaces without the streaking, protecting various kitchen surfaces from fingerprints and grease. The company also showcased its Soap Scum Remover for Natural Stone and Mold and Mildew Stain Remover.

Bona, the official hardware floor care partner of the National Basketball Association, showcased its Hardwood Floor Spot Cleaner. The pet spot treatment removes pet messes and odors from hardwood floors.

Ahead of the 2012 International Home + Housewares Show, Home Channel News editors got a sneak peak at some of the eco-friendly designs, natural cleaning agents and colorful kitchen gadgets to be showcased at the annual event in Chicago March 10 to 13.
