LG Electronics USA is giving consumers a chance to win a suite of home appliances via a contest on its Facebook page.
"LG understands that homeowners renovate to improve both the look and functionality of their homes—to help make their day-to-day lives easier," said David VanderWaal, director of home appliance brand marketing, LG Electronics USA. "That's what drives our innovations. At LG, it's all possible. For example, our Door-in-Door refrigerator allows you to quickly access commonly-used food and beverage items, and our EasyClean technology lets you clean the oven's interior in just minutes, not hours."
The Dream Appliance contest will be launching this weekend in time for the first of two episodes of HGTV's "House Hunters Renovation" that will include LG kitchen and laundry appliances. The episode airs Sunday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. ET.
Entrants will be required to creatively complete fill-in-the-blank sentences. Once the top 10 finalists are selected, the rest of the entrants will vote to select the winner.
The grand prize winner will receive a complete customized suite of LG kitchen appliances and will be eligible to win LG's flagship appliances, which include the Door-in-Door refrigerator and range with EasyClean technology. The runner-up will receive an advanced LG laundry pair, and the eight additional finalists will receive a one-year supply of Tide pods, Downy fabric softener and Bounce dryer sheets.
The contest, which runs through Nov. 22, is part of LG's "Life Good House," a social engagement initiative that offers tips for better living to consumers.
