Colorado retailers hold store-naming contest

A proposed Ace Hardware store, scheduled to open this spring in Colorado Springs, Colo., is using the vox populi -- that's "voice of the people" -- to choose its new name. Nick and Kirby Kuklenski, who already own Uintah Gardens Ace Hardware in Colorado Springs, as well as Mile High Ace in Federal Heights, Colo., are holding a contest to pick the name for their third Ace unit, which will be located in Hancock Plaza on South Academy Blvd.

In addition to bragging rights, the winner will also receive a $1,000 shopping spree at the Ace store.
